A bit more of a plan

Another part of our plans is to travel - yep, do the grey nomad thing.

So, as longtime campers we decided to upgrade and invest in a caravan.

Off to the camping and caravan show we went! (that was in April)

We had an idea of what we wanted/needed.
And this is what we have ended up with.

A Coromal Element 18ft (why are caravans not metric?)

We chose the cafe style table rather than the L-shaped one.

It has an oven as well as cook-top and grill.
Hopefully I'll be inspired to do some backing!

It has a 3-way fridge.

It has a little bathroom (shower toilet combo)

A queen size bed.

And a microwave.

 And a bazillon other features.

Cool hey?

We get to pick it up in January as they are made to order and we don't need it until next year.
I'm excited!
We'll also need a vehicle to pull it....but more of that later.

Plans

Plans! We have plans!
Last year we bought this 20 acre block of land in between Kempsey and Crescent Head on the Mid North Coast of NSW.

It has had the understory cut to reveal the lovely trees (this is called parklanding!)
See - it does look a bit like a park.

An area has also been levelled by the previous owners ready to build.

There is a dam....and next-doors dog, Tugger!

One day we will build a little house here, but in the meantime we can camp here and pop over to the beach at Crescent Head.
